Reindeer Toy Run 2010 |

Big Smiles for Little Faces |

|
‘Twas late in October and all through the town, Not a creature was stirring, just a few bikes around. The bikers were busy, lacking much needed sleep, Collecting toys for so many in need.
The children were nestled all snug in their beds While visions of Christmas danced in their heads.
When out in the lawn there arose such a clatter, I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter. Away to the window I flew like a flash, tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.
“Now Harley! Now Honda! Now Kawasaki too, come cars, come vans, and bicycles too. Let’s do our best to make some smiles and bring lots of happiness to many a child.
And then in a twinkling, I heard from the street, the sound of several hundred bikes, what a treat.
The roars of the engines excited me so, I knew we were getting ready for the soon coming snow.
We started our run a little before noon, Making many a stop, to eliminate the gloom. The people were great and so generous too, giving so much, we really didn’t know what to do.
The toys were collected and sorted in place, Just waiting for a little smiley face.
The day soon came and happiness galore With many a child enjoying a little more.
The bikers were done with this year’s feat making plans for next year’s meet.
Now think about all that we’ve done, and join us next year for all of the fun.
